New for 2026, Minotaur SkyRace, presented by Arc’teryx, is the official National Canadian Skyrunning Championship race. The Mini-Taur 10 km (Canada’s Hardest 10 km) is hitting the world stage as the official host race for the Youth North and Central American Youth Skyrunning Championships.

Mark your calendars for June 26, 27, and 28 2026 and get ready for an epic weekend in the mountains of Crowsnest Pass,AB.

Whether you’re looking to test yourself on an ISF Certified skyrunning course (Canadian wilderness edition) or you simply want to poke your head above the clouds on our shorter course, we have three great events planned on some truly inspiring terrain.

Our world class race course attracts one of the most competitive fields you’ll ever race against, and we are proud to offer cash prizing for top male and female finishers of Minotaur SkyRace. We also offer cash prizing for top 3 male and female finishers of Mini-Taur 10 km. New for this year is the Minotaur VK, a spectacular ISF certified Vertical Kilometer® course at Castle Mountain Resort. And if you’re really wanted to test yourself, then we’ve created the perfect challenge for you – the Minotaur Trifecta. You got it, all 3 events over the course of 3 days!

Meet the Minotaur takes place on the lands of the Blackfoot people. We pay respect to the Blackfoot people past, present, and future while recognizing and respecting their cultural heritage, beliefs, and relationship to the land. This land is also home to the Metis Nation of Alberta, Region III.
