Our Team

Chris and I left Quebec almost 30 years ago chasing the ultimate playground. Our love of the mountains brought us to Canmore, Alberta, where we both fell for the Canadian Rockies — and nearly three decades later, we still can’t get enough of hiking, running, and biking out there.

Along the way we found the Crowsnest Pass, a quiet little town with huge recreation potential. I moved my family there from Canmore in 2010, and Chris followed in 2022. It’s been an amazing mountain journey since.

Through friends, we discovered sky running when they created Meet the Minotaur, an adventure race.  We watched and took part as it grew into an official Skyrunning course — at the time the only certified one in North America. We couldn’t have been prouder to have it in our corner of the world.

In 2025, Chris and I were offered the chance to take over the Minotaur SkyRace as its new owners. It was a no-brainer — how could anyone who loves the mountains and this event say no? So here we are, with an incredible team of volunteers and sponsors, ready to give the Skyrunning community the best event in the Canadian Rockies. We can’t wait to meet you!
