EMPOWERING WOMEN TO HELP CLOSE THE GENDER GAP IN MOUNTAIN RUNNING - POWERED BY ARC'TERYX

In partnership with Arc’teryx, the Minotaur Skyrace is proud to launch a new grant program designed to help close the gender gap in mountain running. We’re awarding four $1,000 CAD grants to support female & female identifying folks in their goal to cross the 2026 Minotaur Skyrace finish line.

We recognize there are barriers to running in the mountains and racing. We’re hoping these funds can be a step in supporting you in your journey and gaining the necessary skills to have a successful race.

Whether you’re looking to cover the cost of travel, coaching, gear, safety education or training resources, this unrestricted fund is here to help you get to the start line. In addition to the funds, each grant recipient will also receive a free race entry to the 2026 event.

Who Are We Looking For?

Arc’teryx and Minotaur are seeking female and female identifying folks who are wanting to run either the Minotaur Skyrace (33.5KM | 2900m elevation gain) or Mini-Taur (10KM | 950m elevation gain) that are facing barriers to racing.

Whether you’re a passionate mountain runner looking to step into the world of Skyrunning, an experienced competitor in need of support, or taking your first steps with the Mini-Taur, this grant is for you.

Our goal is to remove barriers to entry and build a stronger, more inclusive community on the course.

We’re not looking for perfect résumés—we’re looking for passion, potential, and purpose.

This grant is for female & female identifying folks who are ready to challenge themselves and help shift the landscape of skyrunning.

How To Enter

Eligibility:
– This opportunity is open to female and female identifying, including trans and gender non-conforming folks
– Open to residents of Canada and USA
– Must be over the age of 18
– One application per person

Submissions will be reviewed by an Arc’teryx selection committee and winners will be notified by December 22, 2025.
